Spiritual Leadership as it concerns The Church/The Kingdom of God, should mean the God Given Enablement to lead God’s People. This enablement should not be taken lightly. If a leader wants to get in trouble with God just mistreat His People. It may take a while, yet God Almighty will deal with that leader.
In the Spirit Filled Church if a person leaves a ministry a goes to another minister or starts a ministry against the wishes of that church, then this action has been deemed the Unforgivable Sin. Saints have been dealt with treacherously, as bad a Run Away Slave!. Leadership will pronounce curses and damnation from the pulpit in disregard of the scriptures, deeming themselves justified. They will preach disassociation and isolate people, shun them and pretend they don’t exist. They tell people if they go to another ministry they will get a demon, they won’t be blessed. These leaders try to make saints believe that if God will only tell them things concerning their life. Many of them use this scripture:
Hebrews 13:17 Living Bible (TLB)
17 Obey your spiritual leaders and be willing to do what they say. For their work is to watch over your souls, and God will judge them on how well they do this. Give them reason to report joyfully about you to the Lord and not with sorrow, for then you will suffer for it too.
This translation brings out that God will judge the leader/pastor on how well they do this. It is a sham and a shame to try to make someone believe they can move from one ministry to another. Leaders have to remember it is the Kingdom of God, not your Kingdom!
There is the Doctrine of Pastoral Covering, which I can trust in and submit to, even though there is little scripture supporting this. The Church of God is covered by the Blood of Jesus Christ! If someone leaves are we saying God is not covering or watching over his church?
We have Church Organizations that believe, they; their organization is the only one and if you leave it your are doomed for eternity.
The Lord gives this stern warning to shepherds/pastors in the book of Ezekiel.
Ezekiel 34:7-8 (KJV)
7 Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord;
8 As I live, saith the Lord God, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;
