Spiritual Leadership Part 3…………September 6th, 2013………By Pastor Stan Smith

If leadership manipulates, intimidates and dominates; what you have is witchcraft!
Red Flag? One should go up. Many times it does not. These religious institutional practices are guarded by those who benefit and profit from them. Slave owner guarded and protected that system. Apartheid was guarded by all that benefitted that system.
The current Church Systems in the West will have to shift and change because many of these are not biblical at all. These practices are traditions of men that need to be done away with.
Many churches basically warehouse people! Just come sit, listen, give and go home. Every person in the Kingdom of God has a functional purpose and should be developed according to Ephesians 4:11-13:
Ephesians 4:11-13 (AMP)
11 And His gifts were [varied; He Himself appointed and gave men to us] some to be apostles (special messengers), some prophets (inspired preachers and expounders), some evangelists (preachers of the Gospel, traveling missionaries), some pastors (shepherds of His flock) and teachers.
12 His intention was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people), [that they should do] the work of ministering toward building up Christ’s body (the church),
13 [That it might develop] until we all attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the [[a]full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God, that [we might arrive] at really mature manhood (the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ’s own perfection), the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him.
Yet the leaders continue to build bigger sanctuaries for bigger church warehousing. Mo Membas, Mo Money and this is their reasoning! Large dysfunctional memberships! There is nothing wrong with a Large Church Building and/or a Large Ministry, what is wrong is the motive!
Let us be reminded of the scripture concerning Love!
1 Corinthians 13 (KJV)
13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
